Welcome back!

Welcome back to class!  Did you enjoy your LOOOOONG Thanksgiving break?
Today please practice writing in past tense and negative past tense on your blog: 1) What are some things you did during break? 2) What are some things you didn't do during break, because of the snow?

For example:
I watched the hummingbirds in our yard.  My husband fed them sugar water, and they came every morning and evening.  They seem so small and delicate, but they survived the freezing weather and snow.  They are amazing!  Because of the snow I couldn't drive, and I walked to the store.  It took almost an hour each way, but it was fun.  What else did I do? I slept a lot!

No Class Tuesday.....

The snow is still here...stay warm and I'll see you after Thanksgiving!

Wednesday:  Today you can try pronunciation practice at Pronunciaton Practice
Try to do 3 a day!  Also practice typing.  Last but not least, spellingcity.com/lizfalconer! There are words from the Obama reading.
Tuesday:  Typing practice:  Type one page of the Obama story in your  blog.
For fun:  Try this crossword puzzle: Verbs
